Dear Applicant,
Congratulations! Alex Foundation is pleased to inform you that you have been selected to attend our workshop, “A Sense of Place: Architecture, Culture and History in the Arkansas Delta” sponsored by the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH). Here is a link to a form to accept or decline your offer for this program: Offer of Acceptance
Should you accept this offer, you must respond by April 19, 2024, indicating your preferred workshop dates: July 7-13 or July 14-20, 2024. Please provide your optional workshop dates as an alternative. If you do not respond by April 19, 2024, you will be replaced by another applicant.
Upon acceptance, more information will follow, including a W9 for payment of your $1,300 stipend, an agreement and photo release to sign and return, and other details. Please also review the “NEH Principles of Civility”, which are key to all of our success: How to Apply | A Sense Of Place (alex-foundationasenseofplace.org) or Principles of Civility for NEH Professional Development Programs | The National Endowment for the Humanities.
Again, thank you for your interest in this important part of American and World history. We are excited to meet you in person and we look forward to having you join us this summer in the Arkansas Delta!
